Hello, my name is Steve Hipps.
I am currently serving a 196-245 month sentence in the NC Department of Corrections. My projected release date is April of 2024. I hope and pray that my health and spirits hold up during the coming years.
My main objective in signing up with the Inmate Outreach Program is to make new friends on the outside that know and understand that not all people in prison are bad. Yes, we have made mistakes or we wouldn’t be here, but, deep down we’re still decent and my wish is to meet new people who can forgive these mistakes and therefore won’t judge me. I pray

Hello friend, I’m seeking someone who is willing to take time to say… “Hello, I thought of you today”.
Someone to share how their day went and to ask me about mine. Now, as for me, I have a very good sense of humor. At the same time, I am serious about regaining my freedom and seeking the Godly life.
I love to write letters when I have someone to write them. I’ve lost contact with the outside world since the loss of my best friend and wife, in addition to the loss of my parents and grandparents. With faith and by the grace of God I will make it through all.
I love to read novels and study Law cases, as I am my own Lawyer. I am very easy

Now comes the defining moment that will determine if you’re truely ready to experience who carries sincerity and honesty as ‘gems’.
The most valuable things in life are the most simple. I’ve spent most of my life helping others and I do not regret a single moment.
The average person searches a lifetime to be satisfied on many levels of material, never realizing that true happiness comes from

Guilt and innocence is a moot point once incarcerated.
Crimes are met differently on the inside as well as on the outside. I pled guilty to a harsher crime to avoid multiple sentencing of a lesser charge. I found out the hard way how a small town public defender, prosecutor, and judge interact together, I’m still fighting.
I was a baseball, basketball, soccer, and football coach in my hometown. I played an active role in my children’s lives and even though I don’t have the chance to be with them, I’m still

I will be open and honest with you. You already know where I am and why. I am so lonely and broken-hearted, and cannot share my inner feelings with
