Good people can make bad choices, but only bad people let these bad choices define their life. Good people, on the other hand, learn from bad choices and re-direct their life accordingly. This philosophy best describes how I embrace each new day. Every day is a gift from God that must be lived with humility and not with self-righteousness. I don’t wear a mask, but I do wear my heart on my sleeve!

I am a simple man, not prone to following the crowd. I am not impressed by luxury, nor am I persuaded by the opinions of others without facts. I have learned (the hard way) to be less spontaneous and more calculated in my decisions, as all decisions have unintended consequences. I am faithful to God, to family, and to my friends. I invest myself in relationships for life, not leverage. But make no mistake about me: I am not “Mr. Right”, “Mr. Perfect”, or even the “Knight in Shining Armor”. I have my flaws like all people.

I enjoy fishing, camping, auto racing, and College Football (Roll Tide!!). I am a fan of sports, not a fanatic. I like being outdoors, working with my hands, and having as much fun as I can while doing both. I love laughter, as I believe it’s the best medicine.

My short-term goal is to complete the two bachelors degrees I am currently pursuing, and to invest as much of myself into my son as possible. My long-term goal is to be released from prison, to satisfy the terms of community supervision, and to start my own business. I also plan to form a discipleship ministry that utilizes fishing to connect with young men in the community.

I have no expectations by posting my profile. I am open to friendships, and perhaps future companionship. I intend to simply stay true to myself, and to just see what God wills.
