James Freeman – Prison Penpal #073013-0125
July 30, 2013 ¤ Male Inmates Age 31 - 35
I’m truly honored to have this opportunity to be an addition to your life.
It’s my humble request that you survey this profile in it’s entirety. As I rely on God’s strength and guidance, I hope these words find you well and with a nurturing heart.
In spite of what you already know of me, it’s essential that I confide to you that life thus far has been full of trauma, failures and horrible decisions. But yet, I’m beyond the sum of my worst moments. Having elected not to spend a great deal of time depicting ones true characteristics, I take pride in sharing those I hold dearest to me.
First, I’m a man of God who strives daily to stay in alignment with his principles; I’m a loving father who believes in family values; I’m very loyal, respectful, trustworthy, and appreciative; I’m unselfish and adore putting others before myself; I have a unique sense of humor; I’m non-judgmental and accept others as the Creator created them; I’m very optimistic and down-to-earth when it comes to life; I’m also a straight forward and sound listener.
Being that the circumstances I find myself in so often intimidate people from wanting to extend their moral support and hospitality. I find it nearly impossible to blame them considering how I may be perceived in the public eye. I do ask that you join me in taking a leap of faith… in journeying with me across the bridge of communication. Join me in exploring the many caverns of our human experiences, while sailing the seas in search of stability and tranquility. Lets climb the mountains of philosophical thoughts, and glide through the skies of worldly, spiritual discussion. In building a bridge that’s free from the bitter sting of judgment and rejection.
Please fathom what I’m about to share which cannot be explored in depths due to the accessibility of the world and current litigation. I am open to discussing this matter, should you have an interest in knowing. I come before you a victim of police brutality and torture, which has resulted in me being wrongfully incarcerated. I was convicted of murder based on accountability. Which means, I was held accountable for the actual actions of the perpetrator, despite the fact that I was the only one ever charged with the crime. Fortunately for me, I’ve been blessed with having legal assistance and evidence to establish my innocence. I share this so you will have an accurate perception of who I am.
My purpose in seeking companionship… I’m a single young man who’s soul reaches out to you from a place of loneliness. I’ve been neglected by friends and family and it has left me in a deep void. But this reality has instilled in me a true value of love that embraces life in its every form. Aside from the joy and transition, I feel incomplete and in need of a confidante. I never thought I would utter such words, being that I’ve always managed to withstand life’s tribulations. But, now these words flow effortlessly and sincerely. You see, many people wander through life without ever experiencing love and friendship. They dream of them but they always seem to elude them.
I, on the other hand, consider myself blessed because I’ve encountered those experiences, and can give you my unconditional loyalty and devotion. I’m clearly seeking someone who can be considered a confidante; someone who’s open to exchanging and manifesting ideas; who values dignity and integrity; who’s compatible and inspirational, outgoing, ambitious, and who’s spiritually grounded.
In the midst of being relieved to have this platform to express myself, I am by no means seeking pity. But, someone who understands life’s struggles can understand the struggles I encounter each day. So, for anyone who can relate to me, I embrace you with open arms. It is my hope and prayer that God has put it on your heart to consider taking this journey with me. I am thrilled with the anticipation of meeting you. I thank you for your time.
Until I am able to come before you again, I delightfully leave you with this thought… Just as a heart needs oxygen and blood, I need you. God bless you and your family….
