I am currently on Florida’s Death Row since 1995. I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba. Now 46 years old. I left Cuba in 1980 together with my parents, arriving in this country in 1982 after 2 years in Peru.

I am the only child my beloved parents had. Sadly, both my beautiful parents have passed. God knows how much I miss and need them; and never stop thinking about them. But I am comforted to know they are in a much better place.

I was born in Chicago, Illinois.

I left my mothers house when I was fifteen years old because I thought I was grown. Started selling drugs for an income, then I was off the streets. At the same time I was hanging with some so-called friends and someone got killed. I was blamed for it.

I served six years but, before being incarcerated in 1995 I met my future wife. She was the love of my life. After getting released in 2002 I found her and we got married. We had five kids. We were living a nice life till this happened.

I got re-arrested and now I don’t have my family. My wife said she can’t do this time without me by her

It’s been a while since I have really analyzed myself, but now I am faced with that challenge.

I realize that I have changed in the past five years. Now I have greater expectations, goals, wishes and exiting dreams. The greatest realization is that I have learned to live life. I can now appreciate all the opportunities I previously took for granted.

I enjoy singing and performing; not to impress others, but to entertain them. I enjoy nature and the refreshing healthy atmosphere offered at beaches. I look forward with great anticipation to try anything new that may offer physical and mental stimuli.

I’m 5′ 9″ tall, 230lbs. and dropping. I’m eating healthier and exercising more. I was convicted of armed robbery in Polk County, Florida and armed robbery and armed kidnapping in Tampa, Florida.

I will admit that I did the armed robbery in Polk County but I didn’t do the one in Tampa. In either crime, no one was hurt or even touched. The reason I was charged and convicted in Tampa was because of my ex-girlfriends step-father. I’ll explain.
