Michael Moreau – Inmate Penpal #111716-1408
December 26, 2016 ¤ Male Inmates Age 51 +, Prison Penpals Serving Life
Hello there, and a good day to you.
My name is Michael and I am looking to build a lasting friendship with a special woman. Why a pen pal service you may ask? I live in a male dominated environment and the few women I do have contact with are not in a position to offer a healthy and productive relationship.
A little bit about me – I am from London, England. I am of biracial birth. I have brown hair and eyes. I stand 5 11 and weigh around 220lbs, with an athletic build. I have provided three photographs to show what I have looked like at different times in my life. I’m not afraid to do a hard days work or to work hard at the things I want. I really enjoyed playing sports, but now after back surgery and getting up a little bit in age all I really do is run. But it is something I truly enjoy for many reasons.
I have participated in numerous treatment programs and self betterment courses during my incarceration, as I have acknowledged that I have issues that I need to address to become a better person. I like to read the classics I guess you could say that Im a romantic at heart. I like to correspond with people, as writing is like a hobby to me. I also like listening to a variety of genres of music, and have done for as far back as I can remember.
I have enclosed a poem I wrote early in my sentence that still expresses very well just how much it means to me to have a good friend. Even though I have been incarcerated for 28 years I’m not from these parts, so it can get a little lonely at times. If you are interested in getting to know one another then you should send me a correspondence. Looking forward to your response, but till then take care and have a good day.
On a rocky road I travel
Humming past all my mistakes
Till one day I venture down
The road that should never be travelled
I have passed the cross road
Surely it must be too late.
Oh, might one day I work my way
Down a safer road to happiness and peace.
The road is long and unpaved
A climb in that indeed
It is rough so very rough
To go back the other way.
With long and winding beauty
Oh why did I not ever stay.
Now those are all just memories
Fading slowly day by day
If only someone just tells me
They’ll be my friend along the way
Please be my friend
I know it would help me work
Towards another brighter day!
Please help share me on Facebook and Twitter!
