My name is Kimberly, but I go by Kim.

I’m 42 years old, 5′ 5″, 152lbs. with light-brown hair and hazel eyes. I’m an easy-going person with a good sense of humor and am very straight-forward. I’ve been around the military for most of my life so I think thats where I get these traits from, along with strong self-discipline.

My favorite colors are navy blue and pink. I like to read, my favorite author is James Patterson, but I also like to read books by T.D. Jakes. I like to watch some sports. My favorite NBA team is Miami Heat, and my favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys. Also (some don’t consider this a sport) I am a big WWE fan!

I have a huge heart when it comes to animals. Dogs and horses are my favorite. I’m a very big advocate when it comes to mistreated animals. One of my goals is to one day work for an organization that helps to rescue animals.

I also like to exercise, but mostly I enjoy running and walking. I find those to be great stress relievers and a great way to collect your thoughts.

I currently reside in a faith/character based program dorm. I recently graduated from the program in December and have come back to mentor to other ladies going through the program (by sharing my testimony with them). I also teach a sign-language class in the program to a group of 22 ladies.

I do consider myself a good person who just made a bad choice in my life when it was all about me. My goal for when I return home is to take what I’ve learned and reach out to others, other women who face a lot of the things that I did at one point in my life.

By sharing my story, showing them the tools they can use to help themselves. I hope to help them to make right choices, and avoid having to come to a place like this.

My expectations is to meet someone who will look at me for me, not where I am or why I am here, but to get to know the person I really am and hopefully develop a beautiful friendship.
