Life Sentence Inmates Eugene A. Cook – Inmate Penpal #092012-2300

 September 20, 2012  ¤  Male Inmates Age 36 - 40, Prison Penpals Serving Life

Hello! Thanks so much for sneaking a peek at me!(smile)

My name is Eugene. I’ve been in proson since a boy of 16, am now a man of 39 looking for freedom in the form of your friendship! No pity pal’s ’cause I’m here to share my secret recipe. I’m flavored with chunks of personality, slices of humor.

Splashes of intelligence, dollops of pride, shavings of determination rolled in humility! Baked in love, loyalty, understanding and faith. Did I mention sprinkles of naughtiness.

I’m into sports, history, science, eating, General Hospital, footsies (smile), music (Adel to Al Green), shooting mental marbles, religion, stocks and getting to know you (wink).

Looking to connect with someone who’s beauty trancends the physical, mated to a warm soul, saucy!

These are words I describe myself as being.

Compassionate, sincere, artistic. I’ve been locked-up for 24 years and my journey has taken me from the streets of Chicago, inside the court rooms, to death row and back. The Governor of Illinois commuted my sentence in 2003. I’m now serving a life sentence, and that makes me look at life and how I live it in a whole new perspective. It has also given me many experiences and life lessons to share.

I spend most of my time drawing and painting. I’ve done many oil paintings and pencil drawings, but I enjoy working with all mediums. When painting or drawing I always try to allow for an element of mistery, a looseness or emotional space that a person themselves must fill. The details of a story, feeling and intent are all supplied by the person, not me — and this way

I would really like someone to write to for outside contact.

I have been locked up for quite awhile and lost track of most of my outside friends.

I go to church, read, work out and play chess.

I would like to have a real life someday since I was arrested right before I turned 18.

Life Sentence Inmates Paul Butler – Inmate Penpal #060912-1356

September 6, 2012  ¤  Male Inmates Age 51 +, Prison Penpals Serving Life

I’m a now single man who has been married once, now divorced while incarcerated.

I come from a family of 10 brothers and sisters. My father was a Bishop with a Non-denomination Church who formed a Gospel Family singing group. We had the opportunity of traveling to many different states performing as the opening act for many of the well know gospel groups.

I played the drums and really enjoyed meeting the people we came in contact with. I am the seventh child of 10 siblings. I am a passionate man who loves women who are seeking Christ and find it in their hearts to forgive.

Life Sentence Inmates William Keene – Inmate Penpal #082912-0122

August 29, 2012  ¤  Male Inmates Age 51 +, Prison Penpals Serving Life

Hello to all.

I truely do hope that as you are reading this that everything is all well with you, that you are enjoying life, and have a big smile upon your face.

I’m William Keene, the last “e” is silent, so sounds like Keen. I was b orn on March 27th 1955 in a small town in the state of Wisconsin, which had a population of around 1200 people. I have blue eyes, 6′ 1″ and am around 200 lbs. I have many tattoos and am left-handed.

I am writing this to you because I’m very tired of being alone. I do not recieve any corrospondence from anyone. I am left to a solo existence each day. If everyone in this world were left to themselves, living a life all alone, can you realize what a truely miserable world this would be?

I do not seek sorrow, or any of that at all, for the bottom line is I can only blame myself for
