These are words I describe myself as being.

Compassionate, sincere, artistic. I’ve been locked-up for 24 years and my journey has taken me from the streets of Chicago, inside the court rooms, to death row and back. The Governor of Illinois commuted my sentence in 2003. I’m now serving a life sentence, and that makes me look at life and how I live it in a whole new perspective. It has also given me many experiences and life lessons to share.

I spend most of my time drawing and painting. I’ve done many oil paintings and pencil drawings, but I enjoy working with all mediums. When painting or drawing I always try to allow for an element of mistery, a looseness or emotional space that a person themselves must fill. I am a divorced white male, 40 years old, 6′ 1″ 175lbs. with brown hair, and brown eyes.

I am the father of a 10 year old son and an 11 year old daughter. I am spontaneous and adventuresome. I love hiking and fishing. I love being out on the water and enjoy sitting by a fire listening to music while drinking a beer or two.

I like listening to various types of music except rap. I really don’t consider rap to be music. I grew up in Balto Colorado, but spent most summers in West Virginia.

Hi. And thank you for viewing my profile.

I am 26 years old and I have about 16 months left on my sentence. This is my very first time trying a pen-pal service, so excuse me if I am a little clumsy.

I really love God and I’m trying to surround myself with positive, uplifting people who can help support me spiritually when I get out.

I don’t want to fall back into the same ol’ scene. I need new friends to call or write or visit with, especially once i’m free. Age is no issue, the more mature the better.

I’m very laid back. I live in the NE Georgian mountains and I love it. My favorite season is fall, the changing leaves make the mountains seem to be on fire.
