Collin Carter – Inmate Penpal #052913-0112
May 29, 2013 ¤ Male Inmates Age 36 - 40
Allow me to introduce myself with lines…
Could you spare some time to read my true words,
from a genuine man who’s just hoping to be heard.
Not seeking anything but some friendship and honest conversation,
a person who is honestly understanding and has some patience.
I’m a man who is sincere and will always keep things real,
you can ask any question of me and the truth will always be revealed.
I have never been vain or too wrapped up in myself,
I believe that the quality of ones friends can determine his wealth.
I am tired of the loneliness and always being confined,
hopefully you can help me to learn something new and open up my mind.
Have I caught your interest — are you curious yet?
If you share some time with me, I promise you’ll have no regrets,
because for all we know, we’ve already shared the same sunsets… ;)
My name is Collin Jamal Carter, and as you can see, I like to express myself through poetry among other things. But, before I continue on that path, let me give you some more information about myself.
I am half black and white with a sprinkling of Mexican. I’m in good physical condition and maintain a strong mental state, of course its needed in here.
I have almost black eyes, but in the sun they have a copper color to them. I have some tattoos that represent significant times in my life. Some of them I obtained in my younger days and I could definitely live without them, but I have no regrets.
Well, back to giving you an idea about the type of man that I am and my character. Like I said earlier, I like to express myself through poetry and art. I like the way a poem can make another person smile and feel important.
Some of my other interests are reading and music. Being able to read a book and visualize yourself in another time or place is priceless in here. I have a tendency to read books about history and philosophy, but will try any genre once.
I truly enjoy learning anything that betters me. I try to use my time to better myself in all aspects, and one of those ways is by working out and staying in shape. Working out relieves stress and keeps my mind healthy also.
One of my passions is sports, I love football and baseball. I had a chance to earn a scholarship to college for football, but some poor decisions led me down another path.
Well, I hope that I’e given you some insight as to who I am and hopefully piqued your interest. If you decide to write me I will respond immediately after receiving your ink. Until then, take care of yourself and smile…
Please help share me on Facebook and Twitter!
