Charnae Harris – Inmate Penpal #081213-0318
August 12, 2013 ¤ Female Inmates Age 21 - 25
It’s been a while since I have really analyzed myself, but now I am faced with that challenge.
I realize that I have changed in the past five years. Now I have greater expectations, goals, wishes and exiting dreams. The greatest realization is that I have learned to live life. I can now appreciate all the opportunities I previously took for granted.
I enjoy singing and performing; not to impress others, but to entertain them. I enjoy nature and the refreshing healthy atmosphere offered at beaches. I look forward with great anticipation to try anything new that may offer physical and mental stimuli.
I enjoy being with other people and sometimes someone special on my outings. I don’t know if you are spiritual, but I believe in a supreme being: the Creator of the universe for whom nothing is too great to command. Because of this, I believe my goal to attend college and pursue a degree in psychiatry upon my release, is within my grasp.
I accept the fact that most people are different, some are judgmental, dishonest, deceptive and disrespectful to others as well as themselves, but I need a man who lacks all of that.
I’ve never been married, but I hope to meet someone who can appreciate me and my aspirations, and whom I can respect and share a lifetime, fulfill all my needs and fill this void in my life. I want to be able to do the same for that someone.
I want to have children and grandchildren. Basically my life partner will enjoy all the things I have not yet done, which would include traveling to Italy, France, Denmark, Germany and Israel. Once I have experienced the culture of other countries, I could spend a lifetime appreciating my own country with it’s many races of people who have migrated from these other lands.
The beauty of the mountain ranges, the great lakes, the western plains, the oceans and the vast assortment of wildlife that populates this great nation. It is here that I feel safe and proud and aspired to be the best at whatever I attempt. I know that I am different, and that’s what I want to be.
I know I can be whatever I want to be. I am a great, respectful, honest and kind woman. I am a very dedicated and determined woman. I love to see a smile on someone’s face. I love to make whoever I’m with happy.
During my incarceration I have been extremely busy planning out my new life; only thing that’s missing is a man. In the process of being here, I have found a lot of hidden talents in me. Not only can I sing, but I can also write poetry, songs, draw clothing and write stories. I may not be the best, but I am happy in those particular areas.
Do I want to be lonely any longer than I have been? No. Do I deserve a good man? Yes. Is there any good men left? That goes unanswered. There is more to learn about me, and I will give you my undivided attention when learning about you. Race and ethnicity doesn’t matter to me. Everyone’s heart is the same color.
Have a blessed day!
