William Keene – Inmate Penpal #082912-0122
August 29, 2012 ¤ Male Inmates Age 51 +, Prison Penpals Serving Life
Hello to all.
I truely do hope that as you are reading this that everything is all well with you, that you are enjoying life, and have a big smile upon your face.
I’m William Keene, the last “e” is silent, so sounds like Keen. I was b orn on March 27th 1955 in a small town in the state of Wisconsin, which had a population of around 1200 people. I have blue eyes, 6′ 1″ and am around 200 lbs. I have many tattoos and am left-handed.
I am writing this to you because I’m very tired of being alone. I do not recieve any corrospondence from anyone. I am left to a solo existence each day. If everyone in this world were left to themselves, living a life all alone, can you realize what a truely miserable world this would be?
I do not seek sorrow, or any of that at all, for the bottom line is I can only blame myself for the situation I am in.
I have spent most all of my adult life locked-up in prison. So far it has been 38 years incarcerated in total. I did 18 years in the state of Wisconsin, and now I have 20 years completed of life in the state of Illinois.
I am in prison now for armed robbery and murder. I was on death row for 10 years, then the Governor commuted all sentences to natural life. Yes, I am still appealing my case, in fact I have an evedentuary hearing ordered. That takes an extremely long time to happen it seems.
Realistically my chances of ever being free again are very slim, but I don’t ever give up hope of it happening one day. I have nothing to hide, so please feel free to ask me whatever you wish. I will respond truthfully.
I am an open and honest always because really there is no other way to be. The foundation of any sort of relationship should always be built upon openness, truthfullness, honesty, understanding and respect. All real right things.
I don’t have time for games or any of that sort of thing, so I do not ever play any of my own. Whatever sort of relationship we may create will be on that foundation always. The natural course of any relationship should allow us to grow, and grow together closer.
I have never been married, nor do I have any kids. I ask that you please, always just be yourself because it is you that I wish to get to know.
Basically I am locked in a cell 22 hours a day. When it is time for the rec. yard I walk the whole yard. That is the extent of my exercise. To be able to stay outside, sitting under the moon and stars, just listening and feeling the night air would be so wonderful.
The simple things of life I want to do and would love to be able to share with someone special. It would be about the best thing in the world. Yes, I realize I may not be telling much obout myself now because I feel I should first help to clearly tell about my situation. I do not want you to feel like I was not being clear about myself or my situation.
I am old and tired. Made a lot of mistakes in my life and before I kick the bucket I would really like for at least one person out there to know me, the real me, and to know that I am really not a bad person after all. I deeply hope to hear from someone, and hope to become friends.
Please be patient as some times it does take 2 to 3 weeks to get mail through the prison system. I will always write back right away so please pick up a pen and paper and lets become friends.
I look forward to hearing from you. Have a beautiful, wonderful day and don’t forget to smile. You have much to smile for as do I if I hear from you. While I am seperated from society, I really hope that society has not given up entirely on me. Thank you for spending time with me.
Please help share me on Facebook and Twitter!
