Major Tolbert – Inmate Penpal #082312-2123
August 23, 2012 ¤ Male Inmates Age 46 - 50
First, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Major Keith Tolbert. I am 49 years old, single, with one beautiful 7 year old daughter. I was born in Houston, Texas. I grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with my mother after my parents divorced.
I left home at the age of 17 and started a life of my own back in Houston. My parents raised me to be a humble and respectful person. When a boy becomes a man, the decision he makes in life are his own.
I take full responsibility for the wrong I have done in my life. Several times in my life being at the wrong places at the wrong time have lead me to incarceration, even as I sit here facing a 35 year robbery sentence that is currently on appeal to be overturned.
I believe that all my stumbles have become building blocks. I have finally turned my life around and want to live for the Lord, and be a productive member of society.
Despite my incarceration, many people including friends and family believe I’m an intelligent, loving and caring person. I myself, believe I have the ability to achieve anything (my motto is “The sky is the limit”).
My personal interests and hobies are basketball, fishing, movies, back yard BBQ’s, spending time with loved ones. I also watch lots of world news and read periodically.
I am looking for a variety of pen-pals, short term or long term, from the United States or abroad. I am interested in meeting someone for companionship. I’m not seeking donations or financial help at all. My interest is strictly for a friend/companion only.
I know that nothing happens overnight and love grows from great friendships. Race doesn’t matter, however I consider maturity to be essential. At this time in my life, turning my life over to God is my main focus because I have come to realize that without God we are nothing.
I don’t descriminate against anyones personal religon, what counts is that you have a relationship with God. I will conclude this invitation by saying once again, thank you for your time.
Remember, everyone in their life has their stumbles, I do have morales and know the very meaning of respect. I hope you’ll take the time to get to know me. I am not a desperate man in life, just taking a different means and opportunity to meet new people.
Please help share me on Facebook and Twitter!
