Edward Thomas – Inmate Penpal #053012-0113
May 30, 2012 ¤ Male Inmates Age 31 - 35
Hi, my name is Edward A. Thomas and I wish to no longer be a stranger to you.
Hopefully, by your reading this short introductory of myself, you will learn more about me. Once finished, I could only be pleased that you would be out there finding ways to coffospond with me.
I am a 6 foot, 170lb. 34 year old white male. Who at this time is sad to say, incarcerated within a Florida State Prison. Please don’t let this fact be a reason not to write, because there are good reasons to write. With that said I” simply explain, by saying that I’m very honest.
So you may take the rest of this as me being real and not playing games of the heart, mind or soul. Games like this are 100% against my style of living. I know what it is like to have a broken heart and I don’t wish such pain on anyone.
I want to be there, to be that person to place his jacket to the ground so that special someone can walk over a puddle. Yes I am of the romantic type. So you know without any surprises, I am looking for a true friendship that could lead into a real meaningful long-term relationship with hopes of marriage.
But things like relationships and marriage take time, they are not something you just jump into overnight. So I am looking to be a friend first, because I’m a firm believer that if you can’t know what it means to be a friend, then you can’t understand what it means to love when its time for a relationship.
I have 2 beautiful children. Their names are Kayla Marie Thomas and Shi Abraham Thomas. Kayla is 4 years old this June 22, Shi will be 9 years old in September. I do have several tattoos which are across the frame of my body, and I hope to have more within the near future.
While I’ve been incarcerated, I’ve spent time continuing my education as well as helping others continue theirs. I like to play games like chess, spades, casino (card game) and dominoes (not the pizza but I only wish). I also draw. I consider myself as being a very good artist. I have some of my work on my art page.
I like to write a lot. I especially like it when my words are capable of recieving responses. Needless to say, upon writing me you will not engage in any boring conversation. And by corrosponding with me, I can promise to be there when you feel as though times are bringing you down.
I will be there to lift you up from sorrows and try my best to place you up on higher ground, made of rivers of tears of overflowing joy. One with fields of flowers made of extreme emotions, and if you can’t already tell, I like to write poetry. I will have some on my poetry page and hope that you will read and enjoy them as much as I did writing them for the delightfulness of your eyes.
I am sure by now you are wondering if you can trust me or not, and I’ll answer that for you. The answer is simple, its “no”. It is this, for several reasons. 1) I’m a convict 2) I’m a stranger, but I surely do believe that through ongoing corrospondence with each other, we can build a form of trust that in time will be utterly unbreakable.
I hope that after reading my introduction that you will be more willing to write. Also, please know that to me it does not matter what your skin color, appearance or weight may be. All I look to first is what is absolutly on the inside of the individual writing, not what is on the outside.
It is whats on the inside that matters most to me, so please write. Your friend, Edward.
P.S. The photo was taken in 2004. I will try to get more recent photos posted as soon as possible.
