Hi. My name is Freddy Gonzalez. I come from a large Texas family. I have three brothers and a sister. My mom is still with us, but Dad passed away. Before I became incarcerated, I enjoyed singing karaoke, spending time outside barbecuing, working on cars and being with my friends and family.

I have learned a lot about myself since being locked up. I have come to know Christ in a more intimate way. Sometimes it’s difficult to have faith and trust in my story. If I knew the Lord like I know him now, I wouldn’t have ended up here.

However, I continue to remain positive and hopeful. I dream to one day be able to share my story with others. I want the world to know that just one mistake can tremendously effect your life. I have learned to not allow my crime to define the person I am or can become.

I desire a pen pal so I can have some company, keep my mind occupied and to learn about others. Please consider writing me and feel confident you will receive a letter back from me. God Bless.
