Tony Dameron – Inmate Penpal #011612-2319
Start date : January 16, 2012 ¤ Listed in : Male Inmates Age 41 - 45, Prisoners Serving Life
Greetings from the inside.
A million ads and you have to pick one that stands out. So, how do I find the direction best that will interest you when so many scenarios make me, Tony (a myriad of events create the person).
Well, maybe truth will ring that bell. Most difficult indeed, when vulnerability is not my strong suit… but here goes…
I have experienced pain and abandonment most all of my life. And that coupled with my decisions in life, has given birth to a lonliness that sits very deep. So, I write in hopes to form a sincere and lasting friendship. That which is based on respect, effort and genuine committment to be present… one that does not dissapear when the novelty wears off. No one night stands.
I have a great number of interests. Life in general and all it offers through nature; especially sunsets – such an awesome canvas – a new painting every day! I enjoy art and find release in expressing myself with a pencil. I read quite a bit, as I am a man in search of truely understanding self and knowing my father God. “If you seek to understand the whole universe, you will understand nothing at all. If you seek to understand yourself, you will understand the whole universe.” I am adopted and have a very ‘complicated’ life story. I am serving a natural life sentence and do not have an actual innocence claim. I am responsible for loss of life. I am not the man I once was. “We can not judge what men are by what they have been formerly nor by what they will do, by what they have done; age and experience may make men wiser and better.” – Matthew Henry
I am a Christian and learning what it means to be a follower and not just a fan. I am blessed beyond measure and may hold the same claim as the Apostle paul; I am the least – so I strive more abundantly. Knowing full well that I rejoice so much more humbly in God’s grace.
I love music, a good sense of humor and as an artist who enjoys portraits, I love photographs. Wish I would have persued a career in photography. I worked in building trades and genuinely miss a good hard days work.
I could continue and fill parahraph after paragraph, but I hope I’ve given enough to peak your curiosity and now look forward to corrosponding with you and experiencing a more personal journey of connecting and becoming friends.
May you be blessed and know you are loved by an awesome God.
